Are the materials safe for young children?
Absolutely. It’s made with non-toxic, kid-friendly materials — no ink, no chemicals, just light-reactive fabric.
What age is it suitable for?
Glow Buddy™ is designed for children aged 3 and up.
How does it work?
The plush fur glows temporarily wherever light touches it. The included purple light pen activates the glow best, though a regular flashlight gives a softer effect too. The glow fades naturally within a few minutes.
Do I need batteries?
The light pen runs on batteries (included). The plush itself needs no power at all — just the pen’s light.
How long does the glow last?
Drawings typically glow for 3–5 minutes before fading, depending on how dark the room is. The darker the room, the longer the glow.
Is there any mess involved?
Zero mess. There’s no ink, paint or markers — just light. Nothing transfers to clothes, furniture or skin.
Can I wash it?
Yes — treat it like any other stuffed animal. We recommend a delicate machine wash and air drying.
